To access the surgery:
1. For Urgent GP Appointments – please call reception and choose the option for urgent appointments at 0830.
2. For Routine GP and Nursing Appointments – please call reception and choose the option for routine appointments.
Please note our reception booking lines are closed between 1-2pm, however the surgery itself and emergency line remains open for anything urgent.
Please do not use email or klinik to contact the surgery if you are acutely unwell – please call reception instead.
Appointment requests and continuity of care
We are committed to continuity of care and we recognise the benefits to patient care and clinician satisfaction. To help with this, reception staff will try to book your appointment with the doctor you are registered with or, at your request, with the doctor of your choice whenever possible. For urgent on the day queries this may not always be possible.
Pharmacy First
For minor illnesses we may direct you to Pharmacy First – a government led initiative for minor illnesses such as urinary tract infections UTIs and sore throats to be seen by pharmacists who can prescribe appropriate treatment, such as antibiotics, as needed.
Allied Health Care Professionals
Please note reception may book you in with one of our Allied health care professionals – Practice Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists or Physician Associates – to be seen for most minor illnesses. They are fully qualified practitioners who work under the supervision of a GP and can call on them for advice and prescriptions where needed.
